Jessica and Nate and I have something in common, we are all from the mid-west! I am from Kansas City and they are from Wisconsin. I had actually just visited their university in Wisconsin when I photographed a wedding there in August so it was fun to actually know a little about the campus they were talking about! They have been in Colorado for a while now and I loved hearing about the hikes and adventures they have taken so far.

They are planning a Fall wedding at the Mount Vernon Canyon Club for 2020 and I love their vision! I can’t wait for more mountain top portraits on their wedding day. We chose Lost Gulch for their October engagement session. The views at this location are obviously amazing, but I love how everything came together.

We can’t forget the wonderful Salon Joa who styled Jessica’s hair and makeup for this session!

We had gorgeous weather, and Jessica picked the perfect teal dress for her portraits too! That is 1000% her color! And cherry on top, the dress HAD POCKETS. So I am going to be getting one for myself next.. haha don’t we all love dresses with pockets?! We also included their football team rivalry into their session. So fun and so them! I could go on and on, but here is a peak into their engagement session!
