Morrison Colorado Engagement Photos taken by Taylor Nicole Photography | Colorado Wedding Photographer
So if you’ve ever wondered what Colorado Fall is like…. think about winter. Somehow, after early October, Colorado weather just takes a turn and it can snow in the morning and be sunny in the afternoon again. These early Fall snows often melt quickly, but it does add an element of surprise for portrait sessions! When we planned Mitch & Amy’s engagement portraits we actually knew there was a chance of snow… even as I was driving up to the location I was surprised that it had mostly melted, but then as I rounded the mountain road up to Mount Falcon Trailhead I drove up to the most beautiful picturesque Winter like scene.
We definitely were not prepared for how deep the snow would be at the location, but there was a parking lot that provided some relief for our cold feet too! I loved the engagement session time with these two, you know when you meet two people who you just know belong together? That’s how I would describe Mitch & Amy. A sense of calm, fun and sincerity. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding on her family property in Wyoming next August!
