Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church and YMCA Estes Park Wedding Photos taken by Taylor Nicole Photography | Colorado Wedding Photographer
Danielle & Zach planned their wedding ceremony at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Estes Park, Colorado. Their portraits were taken in Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes, and their wedding reception was held at the Assembly Hall at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park.
Zach & Danielle initially bonded over their love of travel and Rainier Beer. Zach had grown up in Estes, so one of the first places he took Danielle was to Rocky Mountain National park, and she fell in love. With both Zach & the park I assume! Zach even proposed to Danielle at RMNP. So we knew this would be a very important location for their wedding portraits.
It turned out to be a perfectly snowy December day for this Estes Park Wedding. The front range had blizzard like conditions, but the canyon into Estes and Estes itself were totally fine!
We started out photographing Danielle & Zach getting ready in their separate cabins with their favorite people. Then we made the snowy trek to the Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Estes for their sweet ceremony. We had the best time photographing their portraits in RMNP, okay I will admit it, they were pretty cold. But you’d Never know from the photos! I think they were equally happy as well!
One of the most impressive parts to me as a wedding photographer was how they transformed the Assembly Hall at YMCA of the Rockies into a beautiful wedding reception room. Also, side note, YMCA of the Rockies catering is DELICIOUS. So if you’re getting married at YMCA of the Rockies, let’s talk. I’d take another amazing dinner anytime (joking obviously I’m not only in it for the food!)
So I hope you enjoy this summary of Zach & Danielle’s sweet snowy Estes Park Wedding!
