Devon & Brian planned their late April wedding for the Boulders at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, Colorado. They loved the modern yet mountain feel of the venue and were excited to show off the Colorado landscape beauty to all of their guests from out of state.

Photographing weddings in Estes can provide beauty and challenges. This wedding day had 30mph wind gusts and it also alternated from snowing to sunny throughout the day. The best part about having a wedding at the Boulders at Black Canyon Inn is that you can photograph the view without having to deal with the weather through the picturesque windows in the ceremony and reception spaces.

As an Estes Park wedding photographer I love the challenge of perfectly lighting the backlit ceremony space to expose for both the mountains and the subject inside.

This wedding was only a week ago, these are preview images I have shared with the clients. I will make another blog post again once the images are finished!
