Pearl Street Downtown Boulder is the perfect setting for city engagement portraits in Colorado. Maggie and Chris live on the East coast, but where in Colorado for the holidays, so we planned their engagement session for the day after Christmas at Pearl Street. They are also planning a March wedding in Colorado Springs that I CAN’T wait to capture!

So Chris met Maggie at a convention a couple years ago, then after the convention he flew from Colorado to visit Maggie in Seattle, shortly after they began dating. Maggie was immediately attracted to Chris as she noticed he has this unique ability to make everyone in the room feel included.

Chris and Maggie planned a trip with three of Maggie’s closest friends out to Prince Edward Island in Canada. This is the setting of Maggie’s favorite childhood book series, Anne of Green Gables. He proposed while he and Maggie picnicked on the beach, and then they went back to her friends to celebrate.

Isn’t that the most adorable story you’ve ever heard?! My heart melted learning more about Maggie & Chris and I am SO excited for them entering into marriage!

It was a chilly day for these portraits, but Chris and Maggie were totally troopers! Maggie’s dress is from ModCloth, because I know that you will wonder that as you see these perfect jewel tone engagement outfits.
