When these two contacted me about coming to Durango, CO from Texas for their early September wedding I was ready to listen! They brought their closest friends and family and celebrated at 10,000 feet! Yep it was quite the breathing adjustment for all the Texas folk, honestly me too, but we all made it and had a blast! This was one of the most unique weddings I’ve ever photographed, this couple was sincere and fearless. Before the ceremony rain showers were coming and going, typical Colorado style, but they were determined to have their ceremony outside with that gorgeous mountain view. And they did it! About half way through their ceremony it started to rain.. it didn’t just rain a little, it down-poured! We tossed umbrellas around, the groomsmen were brave and stood it out like champs. Goodness it was gorgeous. Of course just a few minutes later it was completely dry again, also typical Colorado style. So take a peak at this GORGEOUS destination wedding…
