Taylor & Marcus were married earlier this Summer.

They contacted me sometime after getting their wedding portraits back in the Summer and wanted to book a Fall portrait session, just because! And for anyone who doesn’t know, that is basically a photographer’s love language.
Two important parts:
1. booking EARLY
2. “just because”
Seriously, if you want to make me smile just plan in advance and be casual and have fun with it. I think portraits should be just a fun addition to your date night, you’re already dressed up, smiling at each other and running around a gorgeous place, might as well add dinner too! Ps. you can ask my husband, literally my ideal date night is actually having our portraits taken then going out to eat after! No lie!
Anyways, back to this sweet session! So the main idea/theme Taylor gave me was modern and unique. So of course we had to explore downtown Denver together! Side note, if you want to photograph in Denver the same day/time as the Broncos are playing be prepared to pay some seriously inflated parking fees! Oops, but obviously these were SO worth it! We explored around Civic Park and Larimer square. Don’t you just love their style?!
