Amy & Chris planned their early Fall wedding at the Boulders at Black Canyon Inn. This is a modern mountain wedding venue that is fairly new to Estes Park. The main featured of this venue is the ceremony room with large windows that showcase the mountain view for the guests during the ceremony.

So starting off, this day went smoothly with the help of their wedding planner Ivory Events. Despite a rain shower in the early afternoon we were able to capture their bridal party portraits and individual portraits outside separately before the ceremony. Also, the golf cart was a big help in getting down to the pond and back to the venue easily with so many bridesmaids and groomsmen on each side.

After the ceremony we finished their family portriats and then took Chris and Amy back to the pond for their couple’s portraits. They had a sweet and joyful energy between them, and it was such a joy to be able to capture that on camera. The sunlight streaming through the trees at the pond area lit them up and it had an early Fall color appearance.

For future brides and grooms, my advice would be to choose a venue that speaks to your heart and reflects your style. The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn is a beautiful venue that provided the perfect backdrop for this wedding and was a stunning environment to bring their family and friends to celebrate in.
